NTLDR Is Missing Fix for Windows XP
NTLDR is an abbreviation for NT
loader for NT systems such as Windows xp. Boot loader runs from your PC Hard
disk. You can use other removable external media such as USB disk drive Boot
loader reads a file which called boot.ini. In cause if this file is corrupt a
message will appear NTLDR is missing.
This message will appear when you
boot from a non bootable media
or if a corrupt boot sector or
master boot record. This message will
also come if you have lose IDE cable
of your hard drive.
Fixing This Problem
1. Unplug recent USB Disk and
Restart.
2. Remove Non Bootable Disks and
Restart.
3. Remove Memory Card Reader and
Restart.
4. Check Cables ends of your Primary
Hard disk.
5. Try to connect and reconnect back
the cable
and restart your pc.
6. Replace NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM
files
1. Insert windows xp cd
2. Restart and boot from cd
3. Press any key to boot from cd
4. Press R
5. After this You need to log into
windows by pressing 1
using your password
6. Use the follownin 2 commmands to
copy NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM
copy D:\i386\ntldr C:\
copy D:\i386\ntdetect.com C:\
